There are lots of things going on for the Harter Family these days. Ricky is in school full time and he has been working around the house full time. He has helped my mom build some raised beds for our garden and tomorrow we are expecting a man with a tractor and tiller to come till up a around a fourth of an acre. We have already planted strawberries, asparagus, snow peas, carrots, onions, eggplant and probably more things I am not aware of. Ricky has downed 3 trees for next years winter.
In all of this outdoor work Blayze and Dominic have had chances to get in on the action. Blayze turned 10 in January and he has been learning to drive the truck. It hasn't taken him long and he is pretty good at it. Blayze has also been splitting wood and helping his dad any way that he can because Ricky's back has been giving him problems for a month now. Blayze is growing up to be a wonderful young man.
Dominic has been going with his dad to "cut down trees and throw them in the pond." You'll have to ask Ricky about that one. That's just what Dominic says. Dominic loves driving around in the truck, attempting to drive the truck (in his dads lap), and riding in the back of the truck. He is such a confident little boy. His newest endeavor is potty training. As of April first he will be ditching the diapers. He has even picked out some big boy underwear with Spider-man on them.
I hope mommy is ready for his newest endeavor. :)
Mommy's newest endeavor is getting involved at church, helping to teach little ones. Ricky and I are going to start serving in the 2,3,4s area. I am also teaching preschool to Chrysanna and she is doing very well. She loves to accomplish something. She spends much of her days reading (looking at books) on her own and bossing our dog Trusty around. Don't let the sound of that fool you, she is his favorite person. Chrysanna loves her brothers. She has such a heart to talk to God. She always remembers her big brother Blayze in her prayers and the other day she prayed for children in Boston (that was where Uncle David C was on his Week of E missions trip). Then during devotions one night she prayed for the children in Haiti who can 't find their parents. What a blessing this little girl is to my life and to the life of others.
We are settled in at my parents house. It has become our home too. The Harters are doing well. God is growing, leading and moving our family.
